They say "Regret is a wasted emotion!!" What's done is done. The only time we can reverse a payment is on a refund of the order. This happens all the time, but when it does we deduct the refund from what we settle the merchant.
So you made an early payment, and now you could do with getting your hands on the money again?
Short answer - We can't do that.
When we process a refund - we deduct the value of that refund from what we have already paid your favourite store. Then they would be out of pocket, and then the accountants start fighting?
Then you ask - "Surely it's easy just to reverse a payment without affecting the retailer?" - I suppose on one-off situations - but remember - PayJustNow is FREE to you, No interest - No Fees. All that admin is NOT free!
We built our payment flow so that you only do what you intended to do! Here is how:
Select Authorise Payment
before we ask you to enter a 4 digit PIN only you know! In cases like this - It's all you ! And we love it! ?
When you are starting an order, we first give you an instalment plan to review and approve.
- The order is for the correct amount.
- The instalments are as I expect.
- I know the next instalment is on the date I chose.
- If I have more than one card loaded on my profile, that the right one is the default card!
- If I am unsure about anything - I can read the Terms and Conditions I am about to agree to.
- I am happy to confirm my order.
You then select "Confirm and Pay R{Amount}" before we ask you to enter a 4 digit PIN only you know!
That is intent in our books. ?
